Between U.S. Navy Aviation and U.S. Marine Corps Aviation, which has more room for career advancement?

As all aviators in the U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps, and U.S. Coast Guard are designated as "Naval Aviators," what would be the difference between the career advancement in the branches? For example, between these two branches, which has had more Flag Officers or General Officers from their Aviation components?
