How do i tame my iguana?

Hi I have a 1yr old Iggy and when i got her she was very tamed i could pick her up and take her everywhere and she would not freak now i can even pick her up she gets scared and whips her tail and is trying to snap at me, i also threw away her lil cage i had her in and now she has her own section in the room where her tree stump is and her food is i don't know if that is why what do i do?
